Why Choose The Happy Baby Hive? Here’s how I provide so much more than just a baby class...

When it comes to finding the right classes to support your parenting journey, especially with your little one, I understand that the choices can be overwhelming. I also understand that you want to choose the best for your little one and yourself. So I wanted to create this blog to share more about my classes, to let you know that I offer more than just fun, baby-focused classes. At The Happy Baby Hive, creating an experience that supports both you and your baby is my top priority; with the highest quality training, ongoing professional development, and a holistic approach that nurtures mental health and well-being for the whole family. Here's why you should choose my classes:

1. Expert Training Backed by the Royal Society of Midwives

I am proud to say that all of my training is not only of the highest standard, but it is also endorsed by the Royal Society of Midwives. This accreditation ensures that my classes are grounded in research and best practices, offering you peace of mind that your little one is receiving the best possible care and guidance in a safe and nurturing environment. From baby massage to baby yoga, I provide classes that align with current health and wellbeing standards. Whenever I undertake any training, it is only after lots of research and vetting, to ensure that it is offering the best in the field.

2. Nearly 9 Years of Personal Experience in Baby Massage & 4 Years as an Instructor

I have been practicing baby massage for nearly 9 years, and I’m so passionate about sharing the benefits with other parents. In addition to my experience as a parent, I have been an instructor for baby massage and baby yoga for nearly 4 years now (wow that has gone quickly!). This hands-on, practical experience allows me to provide invaluable insight into how baby massage can help with everything from bonding to better sleep, and the amazing array of benefits of baby yoga too. As a mother myself, I truly understand the challenges and joys of the parenting journey, and my personal experiences shape the way I run my classes.

3. Ongoing Continuous Training for the Best Possible Courses

I am constantly updating and expanding my knowledge through ongoing professional development to provide you with the most up-to-date techniques and information. In addition to my qualifications in baby massage and yoga, I hold specialised certifications in Creating Safe Spaces (with Blossom & Berry), LGBT+ inclusivity (with LGBTMummies), and Positive Discipline (with Attachment Parenting UK). I believe that each child, parent, and family is unique, so I curate my classes to create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive space for all.

4. Classes Designed with Mental Health & Well-Being in Mind

One of the most important aspects of my classes is the focus on mental health and well-being, not just for babies but for parents as well. I understand the demands of parenthood, and I know how easy it is to put your own mental health on the back burner. That’s why I carefully curate all of my lesson plans to include practices that nurture both the mental and emotional well-being of both parents and babies. I incorporate relaxation techniques, mindful movement, and practical tools to reduce stress and build a sense of calm and connection for families.

My classes are more than just an opportunity to bond with your baby—they’re designed to give you the skills and support you need to thrive. You’ll leave each session with practical tips to support your baby's development, as well as tools for your own well-being. Whether it’s baby massage to help soothe and promote sleep or baby yoga to encourage balance and coordination, my approach is always holistic, considering the needs of the whole family.

5. A Personal and Tailored Approach

When you choose to join one of our classes, you’re not just another face in the crowd. I take the time to get to know each of the families in my classes. I offer a personalised approach, ensuring that each class is tailored to suit the specific needs of the participants. I value the importance of community, so I make sure to create an environment where everyone feels supported, heard, and respected. This is why I keep my numbers limited; not only to create a more relaxed and welcoming environment, but to also enable me to get to know you and your little one. One of the best parts of my job is getting to know you and your family and watching your little ones grow, it is such an honour!

6. Creating Strong Connections & Supporting All Families

At The Happy Baby Hive, connection is at the heart of what I do. From bonding through baby massage and yoga to creating meaningful friendships with other parents, our classes help you build a strong support network. I foster an environment of mutual support where parents can connect, share experiences, and grow together. No matter your background, family structure, circumstances, my classes are open and welcoming to all. With my additional training in Creating Safe Spaces and LGBT+ inclusivity, I work hard to ensure that everyone feels respected and supported. Parenthood can be challenging enough without feeling isolated, so my goal is to provide a safe, inclusive space where all parents feel comfortable and empowered.

Choosing a class for you and your baby is an important decision. I’ve dedicated nearly a decade to studying and practicing baby massage, baby yoga and positive parenting, to bring the best possible experience to each of my classes. My goal is simple: to provide you with the support, skills, and community you need to thrive as a parent, all while fostering a deep connection with your baby.
